We are most pleased to announce Stephanie’s involvement this year at the 6th Annual UCF Book Festival!

Every year, the UCF Book Festival draws thousands of readers from all age ranges together to celebrate reading and literature.  This will be our first time going, not only as an exhibitor, but also as attendees!  It is all the more exciting, because authors are by invitation only–Stephanie is honored to be asked to take part.

This year, the Festival will be at the UCF Teaching Academy, Morgridge International Reading Center, and Education Complex at the UCF campus in Orlando, FL.  Clear your calendar for Saturday April 18th from 10:00am – 3:30pm!

Not all authors have been confirmed yet, so this list is incomplete.  But click here to see who’s confirmed!

The event will feature Keynote Author, Terry McMillan.  Ms. McMillan is the author of Getting to Happy and Waiting to Exhale.

Program Features include Author Panels and Book Signings, a Children’s Zone, Cooking Demonstrations, and a Teen’s Zone.

Brandywine Books will also be on site to offer free appraisals.

We are also excited to point out the young author’s opportunity provided at this festival.  Sponsored by Publix, The Young Authors Conference offers elementary age children of all backgrounds to engage in the wonderful world of literature.

In preparation for this event, local classrooms will be provided titles of well known children’s books to inspire them to get excited for this conference. Children will be encouraged to read and write.  Each child will write their own story which will be published and featured at the Conference!  How exciting!

Stephanie has been invited to participate and will be showcasing her first novel, The Blackout.  As many of you already know, The Blackout is a story about a catastrophic solar flare that interrupts the power grid throughout the eastern United States.  Gary and Molly are separated by many miles and must learn to cope with this challenge to be reunited.

See Stephanie’s showcase page here!

So come see Stephanie on April 18th on the UCF Campus and enjoy a day devoted to the written word!  Comment below if you decide to come!  Don’t forget, FREE ADMISSION to the public!!!
